| How do I get my matrix printer to feed from multiple paper bins?
I-O's TXP+ and Print Servers support control commands for IBM and Epson printer protocols. Because the IBM ProPrinter and PPDS printer emulation do not support multiple bins, you will need to select the Epson FX/DFX protocol on both the I-O box and on the printer. Epson DFX printers support only a front and rear paper feed, therefore the I-O box will only support two paper bins. For AS/400 jobs issuing bin 1-3 commands, bin 1 feeds from the front, bin 2 feeds from the rear, and bin 3 feeds from the front. |
